Let's examine if the day of YAHUWAH is the day of joy and gladness or the day of indignation and tribulation. By the way, the Bible carried "the day of YAHUWAH" as "the day of the Lord", because they who created the English Bible replaced the Name of the Father YAHUWAH to the Lord, and the Lord is directly translated to Ba'al in Hebrew.
Here are the proofs that the Name of the Most High was replaced in the Bible by the name, the Lord.
New American Stardard Bible (NASB) - Principle of Translation
THE PROPER NAME OF GOD IN THE OLD TESTAMENT: In the Scriptures, the name of God is most significant and understandably so. It is inconceivable to think of spiritual matters without a proper designation for the Supreme Deity. Thus the most common name for the Deity is God, a translation of the original Elohim. One of the titles for God is Lord, a translation of Adonai. There is yet another name which is particularly assigned to God as His special or proper name, that is, the four letters "YHWH" (Exodus 3:14 and Isaiah 42:8). This name has not been pronounced by the Jews because of reverence for the great sacredness of the divine name. Therefore, it has been consistently translated LORD. The only exception to this translation of "YHWH" is when it occurs in immediate proximity to the word Lord, that is, Adonai. In that case it is regularly translated GOD in order to avoid confusion. It is known that for many years YHWH as been transliterated as Yahweh, however no complete certainty attaches to this pronunciation.
New International Version (NIV) Preface
In regard to the divine name "YHWH", commonly referred to as the Tetragrammaton, the translators adopted the device used in most English versions of rendering that name as "Lord" in capital letters to distinguish it from Adonai, another Hebrew word rendered "Lord", for which small letters are used. Wherever the two names stand together in the Old Testament as a compound name of God, they are rendered "Sovereign Lord".
Both the New American Stardard Bible (NASB) and the New International Version (NIV) said that the translators of English Bible adopted the name Lord as the name of our Heavenly Father, because they claimed that the Name of the Father YAHUWAH "has not been pronounced by the Jews because of reverence for the great sacredness of the divine name." Is this narrative true? Did the "Yahudym" (translated as Jews in the Bible), the people that are called in the Name of YAHUWAH, or the children of Yashar'al were not calling the Name of YAHUWAH? Is there a written command in the Scripture that said so?
By the way, here are the support that the children of Yashar'al are called in the Name of YAHUWAH (not Jews!).
Daniel 9:19, "O YAHUWAH, hear; O YAHUWAH, forgive; O YAHUWAH, hearken and do; defer not, for Thine own sake, O my Alahym: for Thy city and Thy people are called by Thy name."
For Your city, the city of "Yahudah", and Your people, the "Yahudym", are called by Your Name, the Name of YAHUWAH.
Deuteronomy 28:9-10, "{9} YAHUWAH shall establish thee an holy people unto Himself, as He hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of YAHUWAH thy Alahym, and walk in His ways. {10} And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name
of YAHUWAH; and they shall be afraid of thee."
All people of the earth shall see that you (the children of Yashar'al or the Yahudym) are called by the Name of YAHUWAH.
And also, in every ancient Hebrew names, there is a meaning attached to it, and the meaning of the Name YAHUWAH (YHWH) is: YAH is I Am in English, the three letters Name of the Father, and UWAH is to be in the sense of existence (a cry of a new born baby). The Name of the Father tells us that YAH gave us the Breath of Life or I Am the Breath of Life, YAH is the Creator or I Am the Creator.
And if the Name of YAHUWAH has not been pronounced, why would the Most High declared His name to Moses (Mashah)?
Exodus 3:13-15, "{13} And Moses said unto Alahym, Behold, when I come unto the children of Yashar'el, and shall say unto them, The Alahym of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is His name? what shall I say unto them? {14} And Alahym said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and He said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Yashar'el, I AM hath sent me unto you. {15} And Alahym said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Yashar'el, YAHUWAH, the Alahym of your fathers, the Alahym of Abraham, the Alahym of Isaac, and the Alahym of Yacob, hath sent me unto you: this is My name for ever, and this is My memorial unto all generations."
And Moses (Mashah) said to Alahym, when I come to the children of Yashar'al, and I shall say to them, the Alahym of your fathers had sent me to you; and they shall say to me, what is His name? What shall I say to them? And Alahym said to Moses, I AM that I AM, or "YAH" that "I AM" (I AM is YAH in Hebrew): and He said, you shall say unto the children of Yashar'al, YAH (I AM) had sent me to you. And Alahym further said to Moses, you shall say to the children of Yashar'al, YAHUWAH, the Alahym of your fathers, the Alahym of Abraham, the Alahym of Isaac, the Alahym of Yacob, had sent me to you: this is "My name forever", and this is "My memorial" to all generations. YAHUWAH is the Name of the Father forever, and His memorial to all generations. And they just replaced His Name with the Lord! Don't be fooled by them who made the Bible.
The name of the Great and Holy YAHUWAH was written in the original manuscripts or Scriptures of the partriachs, the prothets, and the apostles, but His name cannot be found in the bible, because they replaced it with the name of the heathen god, the LORD. And the Most High declared His name to the prophet Isaiah (Yashayahu), and He will not give His glory to another, neither His praise to idols or graven images. But sad to say, most of us in Christianity exalted the name of Ba'al without us knowing it.
Isaiah 42:8, "I am YAHUWAH (translated as the LORD): that is My name: and My glory will I not give to another, neither My praise to graven images."
The book of Jeremiah (Yarmayahu) and the book of Judges said that the Name of the Most High was replaced by the name of Ba'al.
Jeremiah 23:27, "Which think to cause My people to forget My name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbour, as their fathers have forgotten My name for Ba'al."
Which think to cause My people to forget My Name by their dreams, or not just dreams but in reality, which they tell every man to his neighbour, as their fathers have forgotten My Name (the name of the Most High) for Ba'al or the LORD. The prophet Jeremiah is so accurate in his prophecy, because most of us exalted the name of Ba'al in our worship without us knowing it. And because all of us are blinded, we believed in their lies even if the facts are laid out right before our noses. It's what religion had taught us and it's the truth that we all knew.
Judges 2:13, "{13} And they forsook YAHUWAH (translated as the LORD), and served Ba'al and Ashtaroth."
They forsook or abandoned YAHUWAH, and they served Ba'al by continually using the name the"LORD" in their prayers, and they also served Ashtaroth because most Christians celebrated her feast every Easter Sunday and praying on the statue of Mary which is actually the statue of Ashtaroth, Ishtar, Astarte, ISIS, Semiramis, Easter or Esther (a similar statue dubbed as the mother of all statue was found in Iraq - Babylon dated 100BC many years before Mary was even born!).
Isaiah 48:9-11, "{9} For My name’s sake will I defer Mine anger, and for My praise will I refrain for thee, that I cut thee not off. {10} Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction. {11} For Mine own sake, even for Mine own sake, will I do it: for how should My name be polluted? and I will not give My glory unto another."
For My name's sake I will defer My anger, and for My praise I will refrain for you, that I will not cut you off. Behold, I have refined you, but not with silver; I have chosen you in the extreme heat (furnace) of depression or misery (affliction, tribulation). For My own sake, even for My own sake, I will do it: for how should My name be polluted? The name of the Father was polluted by replacing His name to the LORD or Ba'al. And the Father will not give His glory into another name, especially to Ba'al or LORD.
The Bible translators can't deny that they replaced the Name of the Father because they leave a footprint in King James Bible.
Psalm 68:4 KJV, "Sing unto Alahym, sing praise to His name: extol Him that rideth upon the heaven by His name JAH, and rejoice before Him."
Sing to Alahym (translated as God; and the true name of Satan is Gadre'el, in short Gad or God), sing praise to His name: glorify Him that ride upon the heaven by His name "YAH", and rejoice before Him. In their translation, "YAH" is translated as "JAH"; but remember, there is no "J" in ancient Hebrew, ancient Greek, ancient Latin, and old English, and "J" only became a letter in early 1524 AD. That's more than 500 years ago! And we can call this translation, a modern but fraudulent translation to hide the name of the Father.
It was the Pharisees who mingled with the children of Yahudah, and called themselves the Jews (the real Jews), and became the elites of holy Roman empire (the kings, the royal bloodline, the Popes, Archbishops, Cardinals, priests, and pastors), which replaced the Name of YAHUWAH in the Bible. And apostle Paul said to them which are in Rome: Romans 2:24, "For the name of YAHUWAH is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written."
Back to the question: Is the day of YAHUWAH, the day of joy and gladness, or the day of indignation and tribulation? This question will be answered by the passages below.
"The day of YAHUWAH" will come as a destruction.
Joel 1:15, "Alas for the day! for the day of YAHUWAH is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come."
"The day of YAHUWAH" is the day of darkness and gloominess, and a day of desolation.
Joel 2:1-3, "{1} Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in My holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of YAHUWAH cometh, for it is nigh at hand; {2} A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations. {3} A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them."
"The day of YAHUWAH" is great and very terrible: There will be great earthquakes on the earth, and the heavens will tremble: the sun and the moon will be dark, and the stars will withdraw their shinning.
Joel 2:10-11, "{10} The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars
shall withdraw their shining: {11} And YAHUWAH shall utter His voice before His army: for His camp is very great: for He is strong that executeth His word: for the day of YAHUWAH is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?"
Who will desire in "the day of YAHUWAH"? It is the day of darkness and no light in it.
Amos 5:18, "Woe unto you that desire the day of YAHUWAH! to what end is it for you? the day of YAHUWAH is darkness, and not light."
"The day of YAHUWAH" is very dark, and no brightness in it.
Amos 5:20, "Shall not the day of YAHUWAH be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it?"
"The day of YAHUWAH" is the great tribulation, the day of great wrath.
Zephaniah 1:14-15, "{14} The great day of YAHUWAH is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of YAHUWAH: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly. {15} That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness."
When "the day of YAHUWAH" or the day of great tribulation or the day of great wrath comes, who will be saved by it?
Joel 2:28-32, "{28} And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: {29} And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out My spirit. {30} And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of
smoke. {31} The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of YAHUWAH come. {32} And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of YAHUWAH shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Yarusalem shall be deliverance, as YAHUWAH hath said, and in the remnant whom YAHUWAH shall call."
When the great and the terrible "day of YAHUWAH" comes, whoever shall call on the "Name of YAHUWAH" will be saved! It is of utmost importance to know the true Name of our Creator, because you will be saved by His Name. And you will be part of the destruction and desolation if you call our Creator, the Lord, or God.
The day of the Lord is joy and gladness for those who are deceived by Ba'al, the God if every religion. Just like the song that says: "This is the day, this is the day that the Lord (Ba'al) has made. We shall rejoice and be glad in it." The religion exalted the name of the Lord or Ba'al, they made Ba'al the creator. But in truth, the day of YAHUWAH is when YAHUWAH will visit the earth or the 2nd coming of the Son of man, YAHUSHA. And when YAHUWAH visits the earth, He will come with great punishment to the wicked.
